Writing

She has written professional books in English for students of Ayurveda. Her books include Padartha Vijnana Made Easy, Prasuti Tantra Made Easy and Stree Roga Made Easy. One text book is in pipe line.

She has also written books to bring Ayurveda closer to the common man in Telugu. ప్రకృతి వరాలు Volumes 1 and 2, అమ్మాయి అమ్మ అమ్మమ్మ, ఆసనాలు ఎందుకు? ఎలా? are some of them. Her book on antenatal care " పుట్టబోయే బుజ్జాయి కోసం"won national level award from the directorate adult education , Govt of India.

She contribute for children's literature also. Three of her booklets--"Arya Vaidyasala-An Institution of Ayurveda", " Why of Herbs" and "Walk With Hanuman-Build your Personality" bagged national level awards from Children's Book Trust of India.

In addition to her professional writings, Gayatridevi has also written several stories published in all reputed Telugu magazines. She wrote radio plays that focus on either women's issues or humour - two ends of her creative writing spectrum. Her plays were broadcast from AIR Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Chennai. She brought out a short story compilation titled "హాస్యాహాస్యకథలు".
